Mom and Dad in Cheshire

My Mom and Dad arrived at the Macclesfield train station yesterday afternoon and from there we headed up to the Peak District.  After a walk around Ludd's Church (site of the second meeting between Sir Gawain and the Green Knight) we stopped at the Cat and Fiddle for a refreshment.  The rain and wind on the day did not keep us from enjoying a nice walk in forest and moor.

Today we went to Lyme Park and endured the rain there also.  The grounds and house are wonderful and we missed most of the rain during out tour in the gardens, though we did get a little damp.

Dinner in Glossop at the Globe and now we are back sitting around in zombie-like states.  All worn out and ready to sit around.
